Membership Details

Initial membership fee is $45 for first year with a $30 renewal each year thereafter.

Member prices are
$10 less than non member prices. If you are planning
on taking more than three classes per year, it is well worth the savings.

As a member, you can upload your picture and resume to our website, which our industry professionals have access to.

  • Our classes our designed to help you connect you with industry people and learn from them, but you do not get auditions or jobs directly from ITA

  • No. You should have a level of skill that shows you are ready to be seen by industry professionals.

  • For most workshops you perform a prepared scene of your choosing from film or television.

    If the casting director (CD) prefers to choose the scenes for you, it is noted in the calendar when you sign up and you will be assigned a scene a day before the workshop.

    • Reliable Internet (Ethernet or Fast WiFi)

    • A Laptop/Desktop computer is recommended (Phones/Tablets are doable)

    • Quiet Room/Space

    • A great scene to showcase YOU!

  • Yes, two person scenes work well on zoom and many CDs love it as it’s a different vibe than someone doing a scene with a reader. We highly encourage two person scenes especially for the Talent Blasts.
    Both actors must register.

  • CDs will have access to your ITA profile. It’s important to keep your profile up-to-date with links to your IMDB, casting sites, and a current headshot.

  • See Resources. It lists classes actors and other ITA members have recommended, along with headshot photographers, and useful actor information.

  • Talent Blasts are a unique opportunity for you to be seen by 4-5 Casting professionals, directors, and writers at once and are performed like a show with one performance, and feedback to be given post show.
    These are performed at the Pico Playhouse Theater in West L.A. or online via Zoom.

    Casting workshops are generally one-on-one with the casting director teaching the class, giving notes, and redirects. These are performed at 5th St. Studios in Santa Monica.
